A model is developed, using fuzzy methodology, to explain group decision-making in
Quality Function Deployment (QFD), where the members have optimistic attitudes
towards the result of the decision-making process. An example is provided, as well as the
appropriate computational procedures, to show the usefiilness of the proposed model in
explaining gtvup-decision-makingprocesses in QFD. when the information is imprecise
and the members have optimistic attitudes toward the outcome of the processes.
