摘要:	In this paper a generalization of the classical notions of language equations, morphic involution language equations, is studied. This notion is motivated by DNA strand design with the complementarity, that is, A ? T , C ? G and vice versa where DNA strand can be linked to a string sequence consisting of a combination of four different symbols which are adenine (A) , guanine (G) , cytosine (C) , and thymine (T) . It can be modular as a morphic involution function. Characterizations of word u and languages A, B which satisfy the equation ?(?)B = Au are obtained. For a given language L, solutions of the equation ?(L)w = vL, v, w ? X+ are considered as well. © Taru Publications
