Abstract: Three series of polyoxypropylene glycol-based polyurethane-urea-silica hybrid solutions were synthesized by a two-stage process and knife-coating, sol-gel curing reactions followed. All hybrid films exhibit a more significant change in glass transition temperature, coefficients of thermal expansion and stress-strain properties comparing to pure polyurethanes.
