摘要:	In recent years, the universality of the mobile devices has been very high and has increased many commercial possibilities and investments, while intelligent appliance control is one of the most popular applications. Currently, the most commonly used technologies on mobile devices used in home appliances for remote control are mainly the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Web forms. In this work the goal is to discuss the usage of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth transmissions for mobile devices, which combined with the UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) Wi-Fi and the UART Bluetooth modules via the 8051 wireless communications. When the UART Wi-Fi or UART Bluetooth module receives a network signal from mobile phones, it will send a specific ASCII code to the 8051 device by the UART way. Then, the 8051 receives the signals after transmitted control ones to be embedded in intelligent appliances and through the above method to achieve intelligent appliances control system. © 2013 ICIC International.
