Both pros and cons of calculus reform have been widely discussed since late 1980’s. In spite of arguments are poles apart, calculus reform is still discussed worldwide. The students of Taiwanese university of technology usually have a high failure rate in calculus, thereby affecting the performance of advanced application courses. Through calculus curriculum development of this study, students are supposed to understand which calculus topics connecting with the engineering mathematics and further engineering application courses. Moreover, this work is an attempt to increase the students’ learning performance on engineering mathematics and enhance the learning intention on calculus. Calculus curriculum was designed based on engineering mathematic and further application subjects. Teaching practice was conducted on students of both traditional and reform-based taught classes. Finally, this study proceeded learning performance evaluation. Preliminary empirical results and learning performance analysis of this study are provided.
