Abstract: A radio-controlled clock (RCC) is a type of time measuring device that uses wireless radio to transmit time signals, with the purpose of synchronizing the signals of wireless receivers and solving the precision and synchronization problems of clocks among various ranges. This paper thoroughly analyzes the transmitting characteristics and encoding principles of RCC. Based on existing techniques, a new type of transmission format is proposed. Moreover, integrated with the conventional RCC transceiver system, modified RCC can do more than simply transmit and receive time data. Therefore, an innovative wireless transmitting system is proposed.
